Now Education are working on behalf of a secondary school in Bromley who are seeking a Teacher of Geography to join them from March 2024. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of students at the school, within a supportive Geography team that sits in a well-established Humanities department. As a Teacher of Geography, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the school’s students. Your responsibilities will include: * Planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the Geography Curriculum * Developing and implementing schemes of work and lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and abilities of the students. * Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies for improvement. * Collaborating with other members of the Humanities department to develop and enhance the Geography curriculum and resources. * Building positive relationships with students, parents, and teachers, whilst maintaining effective communication channels. To be considered for this Geography Teacher role, you should meet the following requirements: * Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Geography or a related subject. * Proven experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography within a Secondary School, with a track record of achieving excellent results. * Strong subject knowledge * Are able to commute to Bromley * Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables all students to thrive. * Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
