As a Visual / Motion Content Designer at Dynabrade, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's visual identity through the creation of engaging content for various digital platforms. Working closely with the creative team, you will bring concepts to life through imagery, design, animation, motion graphics, and visual effects.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and contribute to the company's visual identity. Reporting to the Global Marketing Manager, your essential duties and responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the creative team to conceptualize and execute engaging content, including illustrations, multimedia content for digital platforms, social media, websites, video content, and presentations.
- Utilizing industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator to create and edit images, high-quality motion graphics, and videos.
- Participating in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas and concepts for projects.
- Collaborating with the Marketing Team to conceptualize and create content that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Designing eye-catching social media assets, including static graphics and videos, to drive engagement and increase brand awareness.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in motion design and animation.
- Contributing to the development and refinement of motion design processes and workflows.
- Ensuring consistency in branding and visual style across all content and channels.
- Collaborating with other departments, including product, sales, and customer success, to support their visual communication needs.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic/Motion Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in motion graphics, animation, and visual effects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
- Passion for creativity and innovation, with a desire to push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
- Problem-solving attitude for targeting the source of a problem and finding an effective solution.
- Ability to work in a team, show respect to others, and listen to the needs of teammates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills in English. Other languages are an asset.
