This secondary school are looking for a full time SEN TA to join their fantastic and supportive team. This is a role that has lots of variety and has exciting opportunities for a perm contract with the school with bespoke training later. From Mon to Weds, you would be working with a variety of students in different classes across different year groups. On Thurs and Fri, you will be working one to one with a student in Year 7. This child has undiagnosed Autism and SEMH (Social, Emotional Mental Health). If you are unable to commit to a full time position but are available on Thurs and Fri, this is an urgent need for a one to one. Ideally the school would like to have consistency with one person for the full week. If you are available full time and you make a fantastic impression, the school and Zen will discuss a perm contract with you. Roles and Responsibilities: * Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in various classes across different year groups, from Monday to Wednesday. * Work one-to-one with a Year 7 student on Thursdays and Fridays, providing tailored support for their undiagnosed Autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. * Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting lesson materials to meet the needs of SEN students. * Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student engagement and participation. * Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and the SENCO. * Help with behavioral management strategies and support students in developing social skills. * Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to learning and support. * Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN support. What We’re Looking For: * Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with special educational needs. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students. * A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students' learning and emotional needs. * Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classes and with a range of students. * A commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment.
