an exciting opportunity for a Head Chef role at a fast-paced country pub located near Kettering.
The owners are seeking a Head Chef who is comfortable managing various cover volumes, from 30 on quiet days to over 100 covers on busier days. The menu focuses on using fresh ingredients with established favourites, but they are keen for the new Chef to introduce fresh ideas.
With an existing team of 3, there is potential to expand this to a team of 5. The working hours are set at 48 hours per week, with a focus on work-life balance and opportunities for personal development.
The ideal candidate would be a friendly and talented chef who can thrive under pressure, maintain organisation, and prioritise team building. Knowledge of allergens and good GP% management is essential for this role.
Applicants will need to live in the Kettering, Market Harborough, Corby, Desborough, or Naseby area with their own transport.
