Prepares budgetary reports. Job Summary

Prepares budgetary reports. Essential Functions

Develops, plans, directs, coordinates, and implements targeted internal and external communication strategies to support the University's development and strategic objectives. Creates a strategic vision for new communications initiatives. Recommends integrated marketing policies and procedures; prepares analyses and conducts market research to determine the effectiveness of the University's marketing efforts. Manages and executes multi-faceted projects involving digital, web, and other communication mediums. Establishes consistent message and voice in communication efforts. Utilizes effective strategies to achieve strategic vision in communication objectives. Conducts formal and informal audience surveys to identify audience needs and attitudes, tests communications ideas and strategies for effectiveness on consumers. Develops methods to evaluate communications initiatives based on effectiveness and return on investment (ROI). Documents and analyzes results; improves communications strategies. Leads key stakeholders both internally and externally on high level communications projects. Stays within guidelines for budgetary means. Prepares budgetary reports. Edits and/or writes effective copy for publications, letters, advertisements, audio/visual presentations, speeches, and other communication programs across the University. Fosters effective relationships across departments to facilitate communications projects.

Physical Effort

The ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. The ability to lift up to twenty five pounds occasionally.
