CALLING ALL PAYROLL SPECIALISTS IN THE GTA! If you are Payroll Specialist with at least 5 years of experience and have previously worked with UKG Pro and Kronos - WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!Position: Payroll Specialist Employment Type: Full Time Contract (12 Months)Industry: Manufacturing & Distribution Salary: $70,000 - $75,000Location: Mississauga, ON. - Financial Drive All interested candidates, kindly send your resume to [email protected] with the subject line " PAYROLL"Advantages- Benefits from Day 1 (Dental, Vision, Medical, Paramedical) - Hybrid work environment (2 days on site) - Work for one of North America's largest metal manufacturers and distributors Responsibilities- Processing a bi-weekly payroll in-house using native software for approximately 400 employees across Canada- Assist with project implementation of UKG Pro system for Go-Live Date of January 2025- Setup new employees in the payroll system and maintain their information (salary adjustments, vacation accrual changes, tax changes, deposit updates etc.)- Prepare and process the pay for direct deposits and pay advances- Balancing Time and Attendance to Payroll- Perform daily and bi-weekly payroll administration- Process and remit payments to 3rd party vendors/organizations (social club, WCB, unions, garnishments, payroll source deductions)- Monthly journal entries- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned.Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of Payroll Administration / Specialist expeirence- Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) Certified or working towards certiftication is an asset- Experience using UKG Pro and Kronos- Well-versed in payroll legislation and taxation across Canada (excluding QC)- Strong Microsoft Applications skills (especially Excel) SummaryHOW TO APPLY: 1.
