Service Manager (West Kelowna)

Overview Fountain Tire West Kelowna (#2 1345 Industrial Road, Westbank) is searching for a friendly and knowledgeable  Service Manager  to manage the operations of the service department to drive productivity, quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction. Salary: $60,000/year + incentives (wage depending on experience)  Benefits: Health, Dental, RRSP Matching What We Offer: Regular day shifts Great discounts for you and your family on tires, parts and mechanical services RRSP matching program The opportunity for growth that includes the potential to enter our management training program and own your own Fountain Tire store!   As a Service Manager, your duties will include: Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire services  Setting quality standards and maintaining the quality of all shop activities Ensuring completion of shop maintenance and repair work Addressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner Advising technicians of work that must be completed Ensuring technicians compliance with company standards regarding quality, safety, and customer service Managing the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers and customers Maintaining the cleanliness of the shop In charge of the hole mechanical department and will be overseeing inventory and service bookings Our ideal candidate has/is: 3-5 years’ experience as a Service Manager or Service Advisor providing Service Estimation Knowledge of mechanical services Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes High level of integrity and accountability A customer service focus Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers Strong communication, and interpersonal skills Continuously looking to learn and use new skills and the demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvements Flexible, patient, and calm when working with tight schedules
