Position: Charge Nurse Salary: Up to £44,648 Hours: 37.5 per week Type: Permanent, Full-Time We're Hiring Charge Nurses! Role Overview: Provide senior nursing leadership and support the Clinical Lead and Unit Manager. Oversee a modern mental health treatment unit with facilities like secure gardens, a gym, a hydrotherapy pool, practice kitchens, social areas, art rooms, and dedicated support services. Deliver bespoke treatment packages for patients with complex mental health needs. Responsibilities: Lead and support the nursing team with your clinical expertise. Adapt flexibly to changes and the evolving needs of the service. Deputize for the ward manager when necessary, expanding your roles and responsibilities. Serve as a role model, demonstrating core values and excellence. Requirements: Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience. Relevant clinical experience. Positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality. Ability to develop and apply flexible and innovative approaches to practice. Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
