STF Technician Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and soil treatment? Our client, a leading provider of contaminated soil treatment, is seeking an STF Technician to join their dynamic team in the Southeast of England. With a number of sites across the UK and beyond, they offer a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to make a real impact in environmental management. Key Responsibilities: As an STF Technician, you will play a vital role in the management of daily operations at the Soil Treatment Facility. Reporting to the STF Manager and Operations Manager, and in co-ordination with the landfill site manager, you will: * Assist in the treatment of hydrocarbon-impacted soils and organic materials, from reception to disposal. * Support the site's Health & Safety measures, ensuring compliance with environmental controls. * Manage site monitoring, people management, and liaise with third-party contractors and clients. * Contribute to a safe and productive working environment by promoting an effective health and safety culture. What We're Looking For: * At least 1 year of experience in Environmental, Groundworks, or Waste Management sectors. * A relevant Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field. * Health & Safety qualifications (COSHH, Asbestos Awareness, etc.) are a plus. * First Aid and Fire Marshall training are desirable but not essential. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage risks effectively. * Excellent communication skills to engage with colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels. * Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * A flexible approach, willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. * A keen interest in business success and the willingness to develop both technical and commercial skills.
