Management Accountant

Management Accountant – Retford – c£37,000 + study support   We are working with a truly Global manufacturer who are looking to add to their Finance team.  This is a key role within the business reporting directly to the Financial Controller.  If you are AAT qualified or part qualified in CIMA or ACCA with 2/3 years experience in Management Accounts then this role could be a great next step in your career.   Key responsibilities… You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of financial records You will produce month-end accounts, and ensure all key balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled. You will prepare journals including supporting calculations Management of prepayments and accruals Prepare the management accounts including commentary and variance analysis Maintenance of fixed asset register You will assist with the efficient running of the finance department, providing accurate information with financial analysis, whilst providing strategic and practical support to the Financial Controller and wider business. Cover for the Financial Controller in their absence Help to manage the transactional team  Who the client is looking for… The ideal candidate for this role will already be established in Finance, having gained 2/3 years + of experience in a similar role and either possessing full or part CIMA/ACCA qualification. You should be strong on attention to detail and have a hard-working, forward-thinking approach to your role. You will be adept at examining and fully utilizing an ERP system and within all Microsoft Office packages especially, Excel / PowerPoint. Leadership experience or the willingness to co-develop a team is desirable as this role is part of the finance department's succession planning.   What’s on offer?
