At Fawkes & Reece we are currently interested in speaking with experienced Company Accountant's to join a leading regional contractor that specialises in some of the most prestigious projects across the south coast based in their head office in Dorset. Reporting to the Managing Director and part of a longstanding finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial knowledge and support as well as identifying room for opportunity and potential risk. The Company Accountant will be responsible for forecasting projects & business, VAT return reviews, management of accounting team as well as reporting to board and providing month end documentation. This Company Accountant role is with a busy regional south coast contractor with a turnover in excess of £25M, who specialise in high end residential & commercial projects valuing up to £12M, with a secure pipeline of works in the surrounding area. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced construction biased Company Accountant with professional accountancy qualification CIMA or ACCA and a proven track record of carrying out a similar role. Key attributes include a proactive nature, attention to detail, strong communication skills and knowledge of Exchequer or similar.
