Sports Coach Location: Sheffield Salary: £94 - £115 per day Start Date: ASAP Are you passionate about sports and eager to inspire the next generation? GSL Education Sheffield is looking for an energetic and dedicated Sports Coach to join a dynamic school in Sheffield. Job Summary: As a Sports Coach, you will have the opportunity to motivate and guide students, helping them to develop their athletic skills, teamwork, and a lifelong love for physical activity. Sports Coach Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and varied sports lessons that cater to different skill levels. Provide individual and group coaching to improve students’ sports techniques and performance. Organise and lead school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students. Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing feedback and setting goals for improvement. Collaborate with other staff to integrate physical education into the wider school curriculum. Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all sporting activities. Sports Coach Requirements: Experience as a Sports Coach or in a similar role, ideally within a school environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students. A positive attitude and a passion for promoting physical health and fitness. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
