NCL Tutor Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Salary: £30,296 - £33,024 per annum The Role Newcastle City Learning is seeking to recruit a motivated, inspirational and committed Early Years Tutor to join their growing Employer-Led and Apprenticeship team. Teaching and learning in the area is led by employer demand. They deliver a wide range of qualifications and apprenticeship standards to learners aged 16 and over who are in employment. Skills and Qualifications * You should have knowledge and experience of delivering apprenticeship standards and/or vocational qualifications in Early Years. * You must have passion, drive and determination to enable your learners to progress and reach their full potential. * You must be able to demonstrate how you develop curriculum that meets the needs of the individual learner and their employer. * You should consider that the learners are aged 16 and over and ordinarily work in an early year setting while studying. * You’ll be expected to deliver face-to-face learning in a classroom environment, conduct visits to the workplace and offer online tutorials. * You will need to be flexible as you may be required to work across a number of locations within the city. * You must also possess both assessing and teaching qualifications or be willing to work towards them. * Occupational competence and qualifications related to your specialism are essential. This is a requirement of the Awarding Organisations that certificate the Early Years qualifications and applicants will not be shortlisted if they have not achieved a suitable qualification at Level 3 or above.
