SEN Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive are looking to take on a Teaching Assistant to have the opportunity to cover day to day, short term and long term placements to help support teachers deliver a lesson. The successful candidate will also be working with SEMH students with learning difficulties and additional needs. The successful Teaching Assistant/ TA will have: Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months’ experience in an educational establishment A calm, patient and caring persona Good communication skills A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis Experience in SEMH and supporting children with additional needs.
