Our range of specialized services has made our reputation in Canada. Come build with us! *The position will be based in Vancouver, Ottawa, or Toronto. ResponsibilitiesManage the cost control cycle throughout the project execution, by setting up projects/mandates, tracking budgets and schedules, within the project management system; Calculate the initial budget on the basis of the proposal;Ensure tracking of hours, expenses, costs and budget updates; Monitor changes and coordination with the project team;Evaluate change requests, evaluate their impact on project objectives and communicate changes to stakeholders;Ensure and manage the project progress monitoring with discipline managers, including cost and schedule controls;Ensure follow-up with project managers on regular updates of project forecasts, including periodic assistance in the estimation of remaining project costs, as well as necessary provisions and risks;Records and resolves issues relating to project budgets and schedules; Ensure the quality of prepared project status reports, executive summaries, and dashboards to provide timely updates on performance.RequirementsAdministration, finance, or engineering degree; Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position;Bilingual (an asset), but proficiency in English language with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is required; Strong personal IT skills (MS Office suite) and relevant software skills specific to project controls.Skills and attitudes requiredInterest for numbers and rigorous in analyzing project costs;Autonomy;Ability to work in a team;Able to perform in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;Excellent organizational, communication and writing skills.BenefitsConditions offered by EBCCompetitive salary;4 weeks of annual vacation; Flexible group insurance program upon entry;Group RRSP with employer contribution to a Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan (DPSP);24-hour access to a virtual doctor (telemedicine);Training and development programs; Employee assistance program;Active social club and health and wellness committee;Diverse, innovative and stimulating environment;A company built on values of respect, integrity and a job well done;Firm recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
