Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Security Operations to lead our team in providing exceptional security services while upholding ethical service. In this role, you will exemplify a commitment to treating all individuals with dignity and respect, fostering a culture of integrity and professionalism within the department. You will collaborate with senior management to implement strategic plans aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and promoting a safe environment for all members of Team UHN, patients, and visitors.
As a leader, you will oversee the daily activities of the Security Operations team, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. You will conduct investigations, manage departmental finances, and drive continuous improvements in service quality. Your role will also involve developing and introducing technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency, particularly in areas such as CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Reporting systems.
You will manage human resources functions, including hiring, performance evaluations, and employee development. Your leadership will empower team members to grow professionally while fostering a teamwork-oriented environment that values diversity and inclusivity. You will also be responsible for implementing training programs to ensure all staff are well-equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
