Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Our client empowers organizations with comprehensive data visibility and context across all environments.We are looking for someone with good communication skills, experience making decisions, being proactive, building software from scratch, and with strong attention to detail.What you will do:Develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable backend data stream processing pipeline and RESTful services.Work closely with product managers and the engineering team to design and build our platform effectively.Mentor less experienced developers.Participate in scrum meetings, stand-ups, and sprint planning.What you will bring:8+ years experience building distributed backend systems using Java.Experience with stream processing systems such as Apache Flink, Apache Spark, Dataflow, or similar technologies.Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems, and strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of messaging services such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.Experience with Spring Boot, Quarkus, Micronaut, or similar frameworks.Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database systems like PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis.Time management with the ability to organize, assess, and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands.Experience working in an agile scrum team and strong interpersonal communication skills.Experience with Kubernetes.Nice to have:Experience working on security-related software solutions.Interest in Security, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing related topics.What we offer:100% Remote WorkWFH allowance: Monthly payment as financial support for remote working.Career Growth: We have established a career development program accessible for all employees with a 360º feedback that will help guide you in your career progression.Training: For Tech training at Zartis, you have time allocated during the week at your disposal.
