Composites Technician, Aerospace, COR6917 This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Composites Technician to join the Manufacturing Assembly, Integration and Testing team of a highly-successful company at the forefront of Aerospace innovation in a newly-created role. The Role The Composites Technician will work across my client's product portfolio, manufacturing fibre-based components such as carbon fibre, glass fibre, and aramid fibre-based components.  The Composites Technician will also manufacture simple tooling/moulds and patterns using epoxy or foam-based materials, as well as supporting the assembly of hardware. Strong engineering knowledge with experience in the assembly of precision components Demonstrable practical experience of composites manufacturing Knowledge of both the theoretical and practical aspects of MAIT, such as functional testing, electrical bonding/isolation, vibration, shock, TVAC, kinematic testing of deployable systems, etc. Demonstrable experience of using assembly procedures. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of detailed drawings, surface finishes, tolerances, materials, etc. The list above is important, but not as important as hiring the right person!
