This hire will be responsible for closing sales of global offerings in order to meet individual/team targets and sales growth in the assigned customer scope. Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to generate a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.


Plans and executes complex sales. Drives direct sales individually or through a sales team towards selected customers or for defined products, services, or solutions. Plans and executes a complex sales or account management process, focusing on “value” selling. Has high level of authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms. Plans own territory or account approach and manages own resources. Has deep knowledge in own product/service area.


Understands offered products, services, and solutions. Has a solid understanding of the full range of offerings that the client and its competitors sell. Understands and applies the sales or account management process, and may help colleagues surface, develop, and prioritise opportunities. Manages the sales funnel, has established relationships with customers. Acts as a resource for colleagues. May be recognised as an expert in one area. Has good understanding of customer operations, needs and preferences.


Has a solid understanding of business, the competitive landscape and economic/ market issues and the needs of customers.


You will:



  • You will be a sales manager in a ‘sales team’ focusing on our invoicing and invoicing offerings.
  • Work closely with the product team and you will be able to influence product development.
  • Manage the sales process from first contact to contract writing.
  • Responsible for submitting fully completed bids, on time and within budget.
  • Responsible for meeting sales and bidding processes.

  • You will be a part of the UK sales team that belongs to the clients FinTech and have a colleagues in Sweden, Norway and Finland that belongs to the same Industry.

  • Resource with great weight, experience and expertise related to banking/finance/insurance/energy/utility.
  • It is natural to think of a background Sales Management within IT.
  • Can also come from the sector, but it is important that the person has a strong sales drive.
  • Sales profile with visionary, think about value chains and be able to enter the customer’s business processes.
  • Be able to conduct large customer meetings/WS, respond to tenders and drive customer development.
  • The person must cover the entire value chain of Billing and Invoices.
  • Personal qualities: natural authority and credibility, must be able to speak to different levels in the organisation.

With this being the first dedicated U.K hire for the client’s invoice distribution and payments (BPaaS) solution, there will be a land and expand remit includes market mapping, developing business synergies, evolving the product line, and initiating new partnerships.
