What you will be doing as a Financial Planning Administrator
Submission to providers of new business (primarily investments, pensions, however, some protection business is carried out).
Data input of client and plan information onto the back-office system (Intelligent Office), ensuring that records are completed to enable accurate management information and reporting.
Preparing valuations of clients' investments and pensions.
Storing documentation as required for record keeping and information.
Diarizing events throughout the business cycle.
Producing new document packs and preparation for client meetings.
Producing client portfolio review information and presenting this with meeting packs.
Liaising with providers in the provision of valuations and other product information as needed either by phone, email or their own websites.
Undertake the necessary training and continuing professional development required by the regulatory authorities and the firm's supervisory team.
Observe at all times the regulatory principles & conduct rules.The Key Skills and Experience required of the Financial Planning Administrator
Be a good people person
Ideally have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a whole of market advice environment as a Financial Services Administrator or similar
Have good IT skills and be knowledgeable in Word, Excel, Outlook and use of provider websites.
Enjoy what they do and view the position as a career
Be comfortable working in a busy office
Have excellent attention to detail
Always place the client first
Understanding of the Financial Planning process and a knowledge of regulatory compliance
Able to work within defined business processes
Ability to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision and be able to plan own workload
Prioritise and plan own workload and have the ability to multi-task
Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbalBenefits
28 days holiday, plus bank holidays
Hours are flexible but must be 35 hours per week
This is an office based position, due to the sensitive nature of client personal data this is not a hybrid/WFH role
25 days holiday (in addition to bank holidays)
