Group Safety Coordinator

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Group Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this critical role, you will proactively gather, organize, and assess operational and regulatory information to support our Global H&S Team. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of H&S data, responding to information requests, and completing regulatory reporting. Additionally, you will provide valuable recommendations on data collection and software management tools, support site and regional H&S programs, and lead various safety initiatives. Skills: Data Analysis: Strong skills in data analysis with exceptional attention to detail. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage a wide range of priorities. Communication: Proficient in English, both written and oral; French or Spanish is a plus. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or Oracle Database is advantageous. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work with diverse cultures and create strong relationships. Health & Safety Knowledge: Working knowledge of health, safety laws, regulations, and standards. Flexibility: Capacity to be productive in both team and solo environments. Travel Willingness: Willing to travel to sites to assist with specific requests. Requirements: Education: Master’s degree in engineering, natural or physical sciences. Experience: Required: 1-3 years in an environmental, health, safety discipline. Preferred: Experience in data and regulatory analyses. Ideal: 5 years of experience, with familiarity in Power BI for KPI management. Background: Candidates from heavy industry or with an industrial mindset; experience in construction projects related to industrial sites is also acceptable. Languages: English is mandatory; French and Spanish are advantageous. Other Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to assist on a range of issues.
