We are building a modern, friendly, and diverse product-first tech company and are now looking for a Manager within our Customer Success department to lead a team of Account Managers in our Toronto office.

As a Manager within Customer Success, you will lead, develop and coach a team of Account Managers who support the growth and retention of our existing customer base. This is where we see the biggest potential for our product to grow in the upcoming years. In your role, we think you can build on the current team members' success whilst adding new perspectives and sales coaching excellence. This will help ensure that we build a transparent, collaborative, competent and well functioning post sales team together with other managers and leaders within the Toronto office.

This Management role at Mentimeter is focused on a combination of working as a Line Manager and a Team Lead. You will spend most of your time working together with people and their development, team collaboration and communication, and towards overachieving on our set targets. .

What you will do:

  • Recruit, onboard and coach a team of Account Managers, setting up the team to hit yearly targets
  • Goal setting and alignment together with your team and Customer Success Management, in order to ensure both short- and long term success
  • Develop, mentor and coach each team member to help them reach their full potential and drive high performance - responsibilities include:
    • Both personal development and professional development (360 / education for each member)
    • Promotion / Change of role decision
    • Salary setting
    • Lead operational work of a your team
    • Regular team and individual coaching to help the team evolve and prosper
  • Tactical decisions and implementation together with fellow Sales Managers and Sales Director for the area
  • Identify key learnings that can be scaled within the Sales team for goal achievement and drive initiatives
  • Participate and lead prospect- and customer meetings and negotiations as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with fellow Sales Managers and Sales Directors within the Post Sales team
  • Act as a bridge between Post Sales and other Sales Departments, Product and Marketing

Who you are:

We believe that you have approximately 4-6 years of experience of working in Customer Success, partly as a Manager, or other client facing role in which you have gained the following skills:

  • Experience in selling B2B software solutions into the SaaS market or similar market
  • Previous line management and team leader experience in a CS or sales team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience in working with KPIs and goal setting
  • Strong negotiation, collaboration skills as well a proven track record of building high performing team(s)
  • Ability to work with data for decision making and scaling actions for effective results
  • Proven track record in customer/stakeholder relationship management as well as meeting and exceeding sales targets

  • Tailored Management Training Program to give you the best practice and sharings from others on how to succeed in your Manager role

Hybrid Model : This roles requires the commitment to be in the Toronto office 3 days a week.
