Senior Java Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team at Understanding Recruitment. As a Senior Java Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the growth and success of our client, a leading retail software provider.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality Java software using Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud hosting (AWS)
• Design and implement containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes
• Work with build tools such as Maven and Gradle
• Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers, including ex-Google developers

Requirements:

• 5+ years commercial experience developing with Java
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud hosting
• Experience with containerisation, build tools, and J2EE containers
• Bonus: frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue
