Job role: Teaching Assistant Location: Portsmouth, UK Start Date: September 2024 Contract Type: Long-Term Supply Hiring Agency: Quantum Scholars Quantum Scholars are acting as an agency alongside a school who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant for a well-regarded secondary school in Portsmouth. This full-time position begins in September 2024 and will be intially until the end of the term with the potential to go permanent. Key Responsibilities Assist teacher in the classroom, providing support to students with their learning and development. Help to create a positive and inclusive environment for all students. Support the preparation and organization of teaching materials and classroom activities. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed. Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to ensure the well-being and progress of all students.Requirements Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. A positive and proactive attitude, with a passion for supporting children's education and well-being. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Right to work in the UK is essential.
