Inventory Lead

Job Description - Inventory Lead (TIM00043)YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:Reporting to the Director, you will be part of the Procurement Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.Define and implement best in class practices as it relates to all aspects of inventory management;Provide reports and analysis to meet operational requirements and to enable strategic initiatives by providing visibility;Inventory optimization by balancing investment in inventory versus inventory performance;Accountable to implement the inventory standard for all Ontario and Quebec Operations;Support implementation of the inventory standard across other AEM operations as directed;Drive inventory optimization across the operations by working closely with mine and regional management to ensure that the operations have the appropriate levels of inventory to support their operations;Accountable for min/max reorder points that meet established service levels;Accountable to minimize and action slow moving inventory;Accountable to establish and meet inventory turnover targets;Ensure that all inventory forms are signed and completed according to the procedures;Owner of inventory controls and support internal and external audits;Assist team as required in change management initiatives.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Business or Supply Chain Diploma, and/or appropriate work experience;Experience in an industrial setting or heavy industry (mining experience is an asset);Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.Your Work Schedule:Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday;Work Location: Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d’Or, Mirabel, Timmins, Kirkland Lake, Toronto, North Bay, or Sudbury with travel to site(s) as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
