Job title Installation Analysis Engineer Scope of Work The Installation Analysis Engineer reports to the EPCI Technical Manager and is accountable for ensuring all installation analysis associated with the installation of subsea pipelines and associated structures, umbilicals and manifolds complies to Contractual requirements and Good Industry Practice. Close collaboration with the EPCI Installation Team is expected. Activities
Review/comment on Contractor’s Installation Analysis documents
Review/comment on Contractor’s Installation procedures in line with requirements from the analysis
Ensure Contractor MTV’s installation philosophies and analysis bases are in accordance with project BoD and Industry Codes.
Actively participate in Installation Review meetings.
Assist Contractor Engineering in meeting the contractual requirements and specifications.
Respond unambiguously to Technical Queries on Installation aspects and inform the Technical Manager of any potential deviation.
Ensure interface with Company Provided Items (CPI) is included in the detail engineering process.
Liaise with and seek support from HQ specialists when required
Liaise with the flexible package lead, pipeline package lead and offshore installation lead for critical engineering topics requiring special attention.
Assist the Technical Manager in issuing Technical information in case of change and as per the Management of Change.
Highlight any risk to the Technical Manager
Contribute to lesson learnt of the project and close-out report
Accountabilities
Ensuring compliance of all installation analysis to Contractual requirements and specification to ensure safe installation engineering,
Ensuring documents reviewed per Contractor MDR matrix, and engaging SME resources as required
Assisting the Technical Manager / Interface with the EPCI Installation Team
Qualifications/Experience required
Minimum relevant experience of 15 years.
Extensive experience in subsea installation analysis including pipelines, umbilicals, flexibles and structures.
Good working knowledge of installation engineering procedures and tools
Good knowledge of main international standards and knowledge of the DNV JIP on installation of pipelines, umbilicals and flexibles.
Comprehensive knowledge of Orcaflex
Ability to get along well with others in an international and multi-cultural environment
Ability to multi-task and work as part of small and flexible team.
Desire to take responsibility for your area of work and to hold yourself accountable to deliver in line with those responsibilities accordingly.
Fluid communicator capable to represent the project
Ability to travel in USA and Europe
Master Degree in Engineering discipline and proficiency in several disciplines
