Job Advert: Finance Lead (Long-Term Placement) - Leeds Area Position: Finance Lead Location: Leeds Area (Remote, with training delivered in Leeds) Salary: £19.24 PAYE / £24.36 Umbrella Start Date: 30/09/2024 Working Hours: Full-Time (Remote working available) We are seeking a Finance Lead to join our team for a long-term placement. This role will involve producing high-quality client reports and providing top-tier financial support to the Account/Portfolio teams. The successful candidate will be based in the Leeds area, with remote working options available after training. Key Responsibilities: Client Finance: Develop strong relationships with both Client operational and finance teams. Enforce governance and compliance for effective execution. Provide value-added financial commentary and reports for Client portfolios. Work with Clients to compile annual budgets & quarterly forecasts. Identify potential savings opportunities to meet financial targets. Ensure timely results across multiple locations.CBRE Finance: Deliver direct financial support to the account. Provide financial commentary to support standard financial reports. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and savings tracking. Ensure finance procedures are adhered to and escalate issues when needed.Quality: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Leverage Excel, dashboards, Power BI, and other tools. Share best practices and drive innovation.People: Build trusted relationships with client finance teams. Liaise with Contract Support teams and influence decisions. Foster a collaborative and accountable working culture. Qualifications and Skills: Higher educational qualifications (A-level or degree equivalent). Part-qualified or newly qualified CCAB accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) (desirable). Strong proficiency in Word, Excel (including modelling), PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with financial planning and contracts management. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Experience: Proven track record of delivering financial information within tight deadlines. Experience in a multi-country, multi-divisional service business. Experience with Forex in a multi-currency environment. Familiarity with Dynamics AX, Concept software, or similar financial systems (desirable). Aptitude: Self-motivated and flexible team player. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
