Job Title: Senior Support Worker Role Summary: The Senior Support Worker plays a pivotal role in our organization, providing leadership, guidance, and support to a team of Support Workers. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, promoting positive outcomes for service users, and contributing to the overall success of the team. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support a team of Support Workers Delegate tasks effectively and ensure workload distribution Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to team members Address team concerns and conflicts promptly Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets individual service user needs Develop and implement personalized support plans Monitor and evaluate service user progress Promote positive outcomes and quality of life for service users Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks to service users and staff Implement appropriate risk management strategies Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service user care Complete necessary documentation, including incident reports and care plans Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Communication: Communicate effectively with service users, families, and professionals Build strong relationships with stakeholders Represent Halcyon Health & Social Care in a professional and positive manner Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Support Worker Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3) Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations Benefits: Competitive salary Flexible working hours Ongoing training and development opportunities Pension scheme Employee Assistance Program Opportunities for career progression If you are passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives and have the skills and experience to lead a team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role
