As the State Project Manager across all Projects, you will manage the planning and execution of various developments which comprise of capital works program and initiatives, asset integrity upgrades, major redevelopments along with minor refurbishments across a large and expansive portfolio of forecourt, fuel and convenience shop projects. You’ll also: Plan for and deliver a development project from initial scope, budgeting and feasibility, town planning, tender, contract and construction. Ensure delivery project portfolio is delivered on time and within budget and to quality standards ensuring that agreed scope and project outcomes are delivered to the requirements of key stakeholders. Maintain strong communication with all key stakeholders throughout the projects lifecycle. Implement and comply to all Viva Standards and Inspection Protocols. Engage with and manage stakeholders collaboratively throughout the lifecycle of the project providing meaningful, timely and consistent insights and updates. Provide leadership and support to direct report Team Members and functions on the project with some interstate travel requirement. Provide support and leadership to Team Members within the wider business throughout the delivery of identified projects, and act as a 2IC to the Head of Construction. Drive the continuous improvements of processes and ways of working to drive best practice delivery of capital works projects across our site network. About you and your skills

We are looking for a knowledgeable State Project Manager with extensive experience in delivering projects in fast paced growth environments under a structured framework. You’ll also have: Experience in project management within Retail, Food, QSR or Petrol and Convenience industries. In depth knowledge of Australian Standards, contracts, building and safety legislation with WPCG accreditation. Proven ability to manage project scope, perform project scheduling and programming, finance, resource management, WHS, risks while ensuring quality assurance and issue resolution. Proven track record in fast paced delivery within a growth or expansion strategy. Confidence in status reporting, delivery documentation and deliverable management and governance framework. Capability in establishing and running project management framework, processes, governance and tool sets. Demonstrated experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and delivering great outcomes. Excellent verbal and written communication and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders. Proven ability to manage and foster personal development for direct report Team Members across states.
