Asbestos Surveyor

The Recruitment Crowd are looking to speak with experienced Asbestos Surveyors / Consultants / Analysts who are wanting to excel their career by joining a reputable Asbestos Management business who provide an exceptional service into a variety of industries. As the Asbestos Surveyor you will have experience in a similar role with experience across domestic, non-domestic and industrial – management, refurb, demolition and re-inspection surveys / bulk sampling. What experience / qualifications are we looking for? * P402 Surveying and Bulk Sampling (or equivalent) * Manual Handling * Sharps Awareness * Ladders and Steps + Working at Height * Emergency First Aid * Electrical Safety * Risk Assessment * CSCS (Skilled Worker) * Confined Space Training * PASMA Scaffolding * IPAF3A&3B, PTS Asbestos Surveyor Duties: * Carry out all inspection activities in accordance with HSG 264, BS EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 and in-house procedures and RG8. * Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition surveys on sites. * Undertake re-inspections in line with CAR 2012 on site. * Undertake re-survey checks (RG8) when required. * Support Quality Manager with re-surveys where required. * Carry out all sampling strategies of ACMs in an appropriate and safe manner. * Liaise with the Technical Department & staff from other disciplines * Complete all paperwork relevant to the SHEQ Management System & risk assessments * Conduct daily check and appropriate use of PPE, RPE and equipment. * Report Equipment defects and quarantine until serviced. * Log and report all accidents and near misses to SHEQ Department. * Promote continuous improvement and deliver demonstrable high quality service which embraces quality standards. * Ensure company vehicle and issued survey kit is well maintained. * Maintain a valid driving licence along with keeping up to date with industry knowledge * To maintain integrity, impartiality, and confidentiality Want to hear more?
