Recruitment Consultant

Knightwood Associates are a privately owned recruitment consultancy specialising in the construction and property markets. Established in 2009, Knightwood have an enviable track record with many of the top housing developers and contractors in London and the South East. We are currently in the market for a Recruitment Consultant to join our North Thames office based in St Albans, Hertfordshire on an established, busy trades and Labour desk. The successful candidate will be responsible for: * Business development and account management of existing client base. * Following up leads / cold calling to develop new client relationships * Attend client meetings / site visits * Sourcing candidates; using a variety of methods such as social media, job boards, internal database, networking, etc. * Advertising jobs and shortlisting responses * Interfacing with candidates via phone, email and social media in a professional, confident and friendly manner. * Screening the candidates thoroughly by interviewing them in order to produce a shortlist. Successful candidates will demonstrate the following skills: * Self-motivated and target driven * Strong organisational skills * Resilience in order to push through and gain results. * Prioritise workload effectively * Display excellent written and verbal communication * Work under pressure * Multitask effectively * Maintain good attention to detail Previous recruitment experience is ideal but not essential as on the job training will be provided.
