As a member of the Production team, you will assist the Quality Compliance Specialist in meeting the company goals and ensuring conformance with quality standards through inspection and administrative support, utilization of standardized quality tools and procedures, and integration of best practices.


Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for reviewing and recording comments and status of Top of Production (TOP) samples.
  • Assist QC Specialist with management and the handling of sample evaluation and production approval by reviewing the measurement, workmanship, findings, and packaging of TOP and Photo Samples.
  • Responsible for handing over Photo Samples to the Digital team.
  • Monitor ‘rejected’ TOP samples status and provide timely follow-up with vendors to retrieve new samples and the information required for approval.
  • Assist in the TOP Library and sample archives as needed.
  • Support the quality compliance process during Production, including booking final random inspections with nominated third-party companies and the review of factories and third-party inspection reports.
  • Participate in weekly Production meetings and collaborate with other Production team members.
  • Effectively interact and work cross-functionally with the Development and Production teams to maintain product quality, ensuring that targets are achieved.
  • Able to make decisions on quality based on the company’s standards and requirements.
  • Assist in the quality assurance process during development, including verification that components and fabrics match standards and arranging for fabric testing with labs as applicable.
  • Support the review of Lab testing reports (fabric, trims, garment), when needed, and the Product Development team’s inquiries.
  • Collaborate with on-time delivery and quality compliance Vendor Scorecard by assisting the Production Coordinators in gathering relevant production data and recording it in WIP reports and other documents as applicable.
Experience, Education & Designations
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Quality control, Technical Design, or other similar disciplines in the Apparel industry.
  • Experience with vendor communication/management preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems (PLM).
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and reorder workload within a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace rapid change.
  • Professionally effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to proofread and correct inconsistencies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
  • Solid judgement with the ability to make good decisions.
  • Challenge the status quo and consistently identify areas for improvement, diagnose issues, and work to resolve them.
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the business as required.
  • Knowledge of Product Testing and experience in reviewing Test reports is a plus.
