Accounting Technician

Does a new challenge in a company that works in the health field speak to you? We are looking for someone who will be responsible for the transactional side of the accounting function. This person will ensure the reconciliation of accounts receivable and the payment of suppliers and coordinate financial information for special events.

Responsibilities

• Perform invoicing and payment follow-ups;
• Receive, analyze and account for invoices from all departments of the company;
• Reconcile accounts payable;
• Verify and enter all invoices into the accounting system for financial data integration;
• Produce monthly financial statements in collaboration with the controller;
• Coordinate budget information for employee training, certain projects and special events;
• Manage requests for financial support, pay approved amounts and produce associated reports;
• Prepare tax returns (GST-QST);
• Reconcile all credit card accounts in each branch on a monthly basis;
• Account for directors' tokens and reconcile the amounts paid;
• Ensure the updating of financial procedures and processes.
  
  

Requirements

• College diploma in accounting/finance or equivalent training;
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Fluency in French (written and oral);
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.);
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting software (a strong asset).
