The typical hiring range for this position is $150,000 – $180,000 per year; the base pay offered is based on market and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. The starting salary will be determined based on a combination of skills, education, and experience.Key Ways This Position Makes An ImpactPrivacyThis role is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring PBC appropriately manages its privacy obligations by enabling the business to be clear about the privacy risks and impacts.In this role, you would act as the Chief Privacy Officer and carry out the privacy function ensuring PBC has appropriate practices and controls in place regarding personal information, responding to privacy inquiries, information access requests, and issues with potential breaches.This role liaises with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC and any other external stakeholders regarding privacy issues.You would lead the Privacy Function on management committees and identify areas to improve processes and operational efficiency.
