Field Application Engineer – Paris, France

Alvéole has an exciting opportunity for a Field Application Engineer to actively participate in the worldwide development of Alveole’s business by ensuring customer success using Alveole’s platforms. For this position, we are seeking a motivated individual with scientific background, based in Paris. The Field Application Engineer will report to the Sales and Marketing Director. Key responsibilities: Educate customers on the use of the technology by delivering pre and post-sales applications and technical support in a timely and professional mannerPerform hardware and software installations of Primo technology and related microscope parts on customer sites.Deliver remote, Alveole in house and customer on-site demonstrations and trainingManage the field maintenance service on customer-siteSupport worldwide distributors to promote Alveole technology by providing them with technical and scientific supportBring your application expertise for customer qualification calls and customer seminars covering a variety of scientific research areas related to Alveole’s technologyTrack and report activities within the Customer Relationship Management tool (Sales Force) according to internal proceduresOptimize existing application workflows based on users’ feedbackCarry out proof-of-concept experiments if required for new client applicationCollaborate with the R&D team to design new applications and develop new protocolsCo-develop sales and marketing materials including application notes and marketing presentations when requiredActively participate, as other team members, in international scientific meetings, conferences, and exhibitionDynamic team playerGood analytical and solution-oriented mindsetStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively deliver technical presentations and application notesAbility to adsorb detailed technical information Position Requirements: Engineer or PhD in Biology, Biophysics or related fieldFirst experience in the life sciences industryPrevious field application engineer experience is a plusProficiency in EnglishInternational work experience is highly valuedKnowledge in cell biology with a practical research experience and standard lab operationsAwareness of microscopy techniquesWell organized with ability to manage both complex personal tasks and teamworkWillingness to travel (~ (50 %) in Europe and occasionally in international countriesWork in small and dynamic company with a multidisciplinary teamLocated in center Paris, in the 13th areaEvolve in an international environment with worldwide customers and distributorsPermanent position (CDI) with health benefits and a good work life balance (home office allowed)If this challenge appeals to you, and you can offer drive, commitment, and enthusiasm, we look forward to hearing from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
