Our Canadian team has doubled in size over the last two years, and our growth is expected to rapidly continue as we transcend the landscape of future healthcare.Summary of PositionThe Senior Product Manager will be responsible for leading product strategy and product development cycle for relevant product areas including responsibility for managing the roadmap and innovation funnel. This role will also be responsible for supporting routine market and competitive evaluation including pricing and leading new product innovation/ideation, customer/operations/clinical user journeys, design, implementation, and management of existing and new products in support of Teladoc Health’s product lines. This includes establishing success metrics that measure clinical outcomes in addition to customer, market, and operational success, thereby enhancing our ability to drive new revenue and improve margins. The Senior Product Manager will effectively act as the intersection between various stakeholders, including clinical, operations, business, finance, data analytics, technology, and external vendors and clients when necessary. The Senior Product Manager will also work with our internal business partners on the creation and management of business plans that support the business goals of specific segments. In addition, the Senior PM will contribute to the development of the Product department in Canada supporting the establishment of processes, tools and templates to standardize all elements of the product life cycle.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe time spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.Act as the primary product owner and manager of existing complex products and programsManage the assigned product lifecycle in whole - from ideation, exploration, approval, development, implementation, execution, measurement and ongoing developmentWork alongside technology leads of development and engineering teams to lead refinement, backlog grooming, prioritization, daily standups, etc.Own creation and management of JIRA tickets (epics, stories, etc.)Lead UAT with appropriate stakeholders including approval to push into productionDevelop essential product documentation including Business Case, Business Requirements/Product Specifications/Acceptance Criteria, and use cases, etc.Develop and maintain key metrics and reporting to accurately measure product performance (customer loyalty, experience, forecasted revenue, utilization, resource optimization, etc.)Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert in the assigned product areaSupport with analysis and understanding of market dynamics, competition, and industry trendsPerform other duties as assigned by managementCommunicate, collaborate with, and influence leaders in diverse functional areas (e.g., technology, clinical, sales, operations) regarding product needs, market plans, and organizational prioritization, including:With Marketing on the delivery of product promotion and sales activitiesWith innovation and strategy leaders to develop new clinical lines of business and partnershipsWith Engineering Development to facilitate the Agile development process as a key product owner, participating and leading the development sprint efforts and daily task activities necessary in Agile developmentWith Business Development to assess potential strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and build/buy/partner decisionsWith Sales, Client Relations, Operations and Marketing to supply necessary product knowledge, competitor and market information, presentations, and technical expertiseSupervisory ResponsibilitiesCurrently No.Qualifications Expected for PositionBachelor's Degree in Business or related field (or equivalent in relevant work experience) requiredMBA or Master’s Degree preferredMinimum of 5 - 8 years of product management experience requiredProduct Management or related experience in the healthcare technology industry preferredExperience in telehealth, patient engagements tools, or digital health, preferredExpertise in relevant business software (Excel, PPT)Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCommunication and presentation skillsPositively collaborates with other employees and departments to complete objectivesComfort with change and uncertaintyComfortable working independently and communicating through multiple levels in organizationCustomer orientation with data-driven decision-making approachProblem analysis and problem solvingStrategic thinking and planningOrganizational and planning skillsHybrid employees will be expected to work in the office twice per week, with recommended days being Tuesday to Thursday.Travel: 5%Travel percentage reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.A New Category in Healthcare: Teladoc Health is transforming the healthcare experience and empowering people everywhere to live healthier lives.Our Work Truly Matters: Recognized as the world leader in whole-person virtual care, Teladoc Health uses proprietary health signals and personalized interactions to drive better health outcomes across the full continuum of care, at every stage in a person’s health journey.Focus on PEOPLE: Teladoc Health has been recognized as a top employer by numerous media and professional organizations.
