Quality Assurance Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at John Charcol - Independent Mortgage Expertise. As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance are maintained throughout our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake file monitoring activities to identify quality issues and facilitate remedial actions.
• Consistently meet file review standards within prescribed timescales.
• Sample testing in response to identified risks and quality concerns.
• Assist the Compliance Manager with monthly MI/data for timely board reporting.
• Generate best practice and provide feedback to the business to improve file quality and record keeping standards.
• Support general Compliance-related queries and administrative tasks.
• Actively contribute to the Compliance team and develop a strong core Compliance knowledge.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience within a regulated or financial services environment.
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment in the UK, particularly FCA regulation.
• Good IT skills in relevant applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
