Shift Mechanical Fitter - Maintenance Technician / Engineer

PRODUCTION PROCESS REQUIRES A SELF-MOTIVATED MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN OR MECHANICAL ENGINEER TO UNDERTAKE REACTIVE AND PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE ROLE: Shift Mechanical Fitter - Maintenance Technician / Engineer SALARY: £40,000 + Enhanced Overtime LOCATION: Barnsley SHIFTS: 4 on 4 off Days, Nights, Nights PREVIOUS ROLES: You may have been a Mechanical Engineer, Plant Fitter, Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Service Technician, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Mechanical Fitter ROLE: Shift Mechanical Fitter - Maintenance Technician / Engineer As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter / Technician, you will implement and run planned preventative maintenance (PPM) whilst undertaking reactive repair works as necessary to ensure operational continuity of the facility. Maintenance of production equipment and conveyor systems Strive to optimise plant performance, utilisation and availability You will be required to apply a strong health and safety ethic throughout all maintenance, using the correct PPE at all times Required to undertake repairs to equipment including mechanical hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps valves etc. EXPERIENCE: Shift Mechanical Fitter - Maintenance Technician / Engineer Successful candidate will have completed a recognised mechanical engineering or general engineering apprenticeship or training (City and Guilds, NVQ, ONC, HNC, HND or Degree) or in a relevant discipline.
