This is a full time/permanent position on site. Advantages:-Benefits-3 weeks vacation-Great culture and leadership team-Opportunity for advancement-Potential to get CPA courses reimbursedResponsibilities:-Full cycle accounting;-Prepare regular financial reports, income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flow for various clients-Responsible for monthly and quarterly financial close process-Prepare timely and accurate journal entries as required-Preparation and review of working paper files and corporate tax provisions and returns-Review general ledger accounts activities to ensure account accuracy of financial statements-Prepare and review and HST returns, payroll remittances, bank reconciliations-Preparation and review of Personal and Corporate Income Tax returns-Develop and maintain new client relations-Provide leadership and technical guidance on engagements-Meet new clients and promote firm services; and support the management in various related activities.Job Requirements:Qualifications:-Post-secondary education in Accounting-Pursuing an accounting designation (CPA)-Minimum of five 3 years of related work experience-Experience working with Small/Medium Public Accounting firm-Good knowledge of Excel, Sage Simply Accounting, Quickbooks, Taxprep and Caseware-Capable of managing demanding situations-Capable of solving problems and using sound judgment-Strong communication skills and ability to answer client questions-Must be comfortable promoting firm services, working on and offsite with clients and signing new clients-Quality and detail oriented and able to meet tight deadlines-Excellent team playerRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
