Array Labs is building a distributed radar imaging constellation to power the first accurate, real-time 3D model of the world.As an electrical engineer on the avionics team, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the design of the first autonomous formation flying distributed satellite constellation. In this critical role, you will be collaborating with flight software, spacecraft operations, mechanical, radar and radio frequency engineering teams to build cutting-edge hardware, rapidly moving all the way from clean-sheet designs into full operational deployment in space.Responsibilities:System-level and module-level design in support of a ground-breaking multi-function distributed satellite constellationsWork closely with flight software, GNC, mechanical and spacecraft operations teams to design and validate avionics electronicsDevelop circuit designs and build simulations to analyze system performanceDesign electronics for the orbital environmentsCreate spacecraft hardware requirements, specifications, and test proceduresSupport flight software bring-up and validation by developing and implementing hardware test plansBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a related field.Experience in electronics design, fabrication, and testExcellent teamwork and communication skillsLearns new concepts rapidly, completely, and in a self-directed mannerHigh levels of self-motivation and personal accountabilityAbility to work in a fast-paced environment under significant time constraintsPreferred Skills and Experience:Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field2+ years of experience in electronics design for mission-critical or space-flight applications2+ years of experience designing avionics or flight-control systems2+ years of experience working in fast-paced/startup environmentsExperience in the design, integration, and test of avionics and flight-control systemsExperience designing spacecraft electronicsStrong understanding of computers and programming languagesDemonstrated ability to work in a highly cross-functional roleExperience working in a lab and using laboratory test equipmentITAR Requirements:To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.Equal Opportunity EmployerArray Labs is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
