We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and maintaining our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. This role is pivotal in supporting our accounting operations and providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and reconcile accounts to ensure timely and accurate transactions.Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and databases with precision.Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and address discrepancies as needed.Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, summaries, and statements for review by senior management.Client Interaction: Communicate with clients regarding account inquiries, payment status, and resolve any issues that arise.Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, organizing documents, and scheduling meetings.Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting principles, policies, and procedures in all tasks.Qualifications:Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or finance role preferred, but not required.
