The school describes itself as a "fully inclusive comprehensive", that largely caters for students travelling from central Bristol, providing high-quality education, away from the distraction and stress of a busy city. The school was graded "Good" by Ofsted in 2021 and has since been working hard on its long-term development plan to highlight areas of improvement and implement these, to achieve future success. As a Teacher, the education of your pupils is your priority, and you will be responsible for students achieving the highest possible standards, in both work and conduct. You will have strong subject knowledge, and keep up-to-date with the changes in curriculum. You will forge positive professional relationships, and work alongside parents/carers in the best interest of the pupils. Responsibilities to include: Teaching across Key Stages 3&4 Maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge Impart knowledge and develop understanding through effective use of lesson time Promote a love of learning and children’s intellectual curiosity Contribute to the design and provision of an engaging curriculum within the relevant subject area(s).
