Injection Moulding Setter Location: South Leicestershire Salary: £30,341.25 per annum Job Type: Permanent Hours of Work: Rotating shifts: 5:50 AM – 2:05 PM, 13:50 PM – 10:05 PM Overtime: Available and paid at a premium rate Engineering @ 365 is recruiting on behalf of our client, a highly respected company within the plastics industry, for an Injection Moulding Setter to join their growing team in South Leicestershire. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and setting injection moulding machines, be comfortable working from data sheets, and have a hands-on approach to ensuring smooth and efficient production. Key Responsibilities: * Set and operate Arburg and Krauss Maffei injection moulding machines, ensuring optimum performance and adherence to production schedules. * Interpret and work from data sheets to configure machines for different production runs, adjusting settings to achieve quality standards. * Monitor the production process, troubleshooting any issues with machinery, tooling, or product quality. * Ensure machines are set up correctly for each job, maintaining accurate records of machine settings, material usage, and any adjustments made. * Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to prevent downtime and maintain efficiency. * Conduct quality checks on produced parts, ensuring they meet customer specifications and company standards. * Work collaboratively with the production and quality control teams to meet production targets and resolve any technical issues. * Assist with tooling changes and ensure a smooth transition between production runs. Requirements: * Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter, with the ability to set and operate machines in a fast-paced production environment. * Familiarity with Arburg and Krauss Maffei injection moulding machines is highly desirable. * Strong understanding of injection moulding processes, machine settings, and tooling. * Ability to read and interpret data sheets and technical documentation related to the injection moulding process. * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly. * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts. * Willingness to work rotating shifts and adapt to changing production requirements.
