Materials Controller/ Planner Part Time – Permanent Redditch £32000 - £35000 per year Benefits: 30 hours per week Flexible working hours, early starts available £32000 - £35000 per annum 33 days annual leave (including statutory days) Healthcare scheme Life assurance Pension Scheme Onsite parking Key Responsibilities:  Scheduling the supply of raw materials and/or packaging to meet production requirements. Reviewing volume requirements against short term and long-term customer forecasts. Liaising with key suppliers, building an effective partnership. Ensuring inbound deliveries are met on time and in full Taking appropriate actions to minimise production shortages Raising purchase orders to ensure on time delivery is achieved by external suppliers. Management of all inventories to the agreed stock levels Working closely with different chain teams to understand and execute customer requirements. To provide appropriate planning cover in line with departmental holiday schedules. Maintaining agreed stock levels in a cost-effective manner, measured by value of P&L inventory used and held on a weekly/monthly basis Ensuring stock is available to meet production requirements, avoiding downtime and customer shortages, measured by daily/weekly downtime in production/customer OTIF service levels.  Ideal candidate will have: Good communication skills, both verbally and written Excellent attention to detail Able to form and maintain fantastic relations internally and externally Strong Microsoft Excel skills and IT Literate Able to provide excellent levels of service to internal and external customers
