Private Client Wills Assistant

Job Role: Private Client Assistant Location: Shirley Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 Office based & Full Time Are you an experienced Legal Administrator, Secretary or Assistant seeking a change in scenery or a new challenge in the legal sector? then this role could be for you as we are looking to assist a regional legal 500 client of ours in their search for a new Private Client Assistant, to join their busy and thriving team. Prior private client, private wealth legal experience is essential and a keen interest and focus handling Wills would be beneficial as this would be a focused role aiding new and existing clients with their Wills. Day to day duties include but may not be limited to; * Dealing with queries raised by clients, solicitors and other involved parties * Provide client updates and monitor matter progression * Opening and closing matters on the case management system compliant with the firm's AML and quality standards and SRA regulations * Supervised drafting of basic correspondence, forms and documents. * Submitting/registering forms and legal documents Probate Registry, Certainty and HMRC You must have; * Previous work experience as legal assistant/secretary * Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office * Advanced computer literacy (word, excel, outlook) * Working knowledge of case management software * Proficiency in English * Excellent administrative and organisational skills * A keen interest in the area of law * Excellent communication skills If you could be interested in hearing more about this opportunity then apply within or be sure to reach out to Stephan Kuhn of Simpson Judge
