The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record of inspecting electrical systems within the renewable energy, oil & gas, logistics, or construction sectors. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections of electrical systems, including power distribution networks, substations, and other electrical equipment, to ensure compliance with current UK regulations (IEE Wiring Regulations, BS7671). Prepare and deliver detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommendations. Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to clients to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards. Collaborate with project teams to integrate inspection activities into overall project plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for external clients, providing expert advice and support. Prioritize health and safety on all sites, ensuring that recommendations and reports align with safety standards. Qualifications and Experience Minimum of an Electrical Engineering NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. Qualification in City and Guilds 2391 or 2392 At least 3 years of relevant work experience within the UK. Possess a clean UK driving license. Independent inspection qualifications or certifications (e.g., CSCS, CCNSG, ECS) are highly desirable
