A leading asbestos consultancy are currently recruiting for an Asbestos Project Administrator. The Asbestos Project Administrator works under the direct control of the Project Manager (PM) and will assist PM and assigned workforce to deliver the project and meet the requirements of the customer. The Asbestos Project Administrators responsibilities are to: * Collate project data, maintain databases, software etc. * Maintain and inform technicians and surveyors of the diary schedule in relation to the project * Receive and process customer queries in relation to the project * Assist with the management, maintenance and filing/archiving of project records * Monitor resource figures, exposure records, vehicle use including mileage records etc. during the project * Assist with the maintenance of the project teams training requirements to ensure site attendance/access remains compliant with customer policies * Assist and contribute to the maintenance and promotion of the Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policy statements * Assist with managing the quality control of AFM, survey and BSA reports produced in the field and issued for the project * Assist with the production of project work instructions, RAMS etc. * Assist with project related quotation production, customer purchase orders * Assist with project specification and work instruction compilation * Assist with the production of project related Method Statements and Risk Assessments * Assist with the management of customer feedback requirements * Make outbound and receive inbound calls, primarily from social housing tenants and agree survey appointments for field staff * Book appointments in the most commercially efficient geographical order wherever possible o Accurately record agreed survey appointments within a number of surveyor diaries * Accurately record survey appointments on the Company’s Asbestos Management system (TEAMS) * Update diaries immediately when appointments change * Support other members of the administration team as required Qualifications held may include British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) Proficiency Modules (or their equivalent). Some support may be required in the following areas. * Producing reports detailing asbestos content of surveyed properties * Using Microsoft Visio to produce floorplans and accurately annotating * Editing inspection data entered by surveyors and correcting errors * Cross checking work produced by the department * Regularly communicating with internal departments and field staff during the report production process * Collating register data in Microsoft Excel to send to client when required * Issuing reports to clients when necessary
