About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Global Audit Specialist to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our audit team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audits that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of financial statements and other financial information to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
- Collaborate with senior managers and directors to develop and implement audit strategies.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry developments.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent qualification.
- Working knowledge of ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP, and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience reviewing systems and control environments, as well as undertaking risk assessment and substantive testing.
- Working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice, and regulation and compliance.
- Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
