Global Audit Specialist

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Global Audit Specialist to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our audit team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audits that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of financial statements and other financial information to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
• Collaborate with senior managers and directors to develop and implement audit strategies.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry developments.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent qualification.
• Working knowledge of ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP, and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience reviewing systems and control environments, as well as undertaking risk assessment and substantive testing.
• Working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice, and regulation and compliance.
• Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
