As an SEN Teacher within an Autism Specific Provision spanning Early Years to Post 16 students, you hold a crucial role in offering customised support and guidance to individuals with Autism. Key Responsibilities of the SEN Teacher in Bournemouth: Designing and delivering individualised lessons and learning activities that cater to the unique needs of students with Autism. Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to develop comprehensive support plans and ensure a holistic approach to student well-being. Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed to promote continuous growth and achievement. Qualifications and Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent SEN teaching qualification. Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders or related special educational needs. Strong understanding of SEN best practices, interventions, and strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
