Snow removal and salt spreading as required Operate ball sorting machineReport any deficiencies to the supervisorHousekeeping duties as assignedAny other duties as assigned when not required under normal classification Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: Working outdoors at varied temperatures and weather conditionsWorking indoors in varied conditions (ie. hot noisy, dusty)Exposure to extreme heat Working in confined spaces Working at heightsOperating jackhammerShoveling debrisLifting up to 70lbs To succeed in this position, you will need: High school graduation or equivalent is requiredAbility to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.Good oral and written communication skills.Good interpersonal skills to be able to interact with other departments.Ability to operate various mobile equipment as required (i.e Bobcats, sweepers, small loaders, etc.)Must have a valid “G” class driver’s licenseAbility to work afternoon shift as required What to expect in a cement environment: Work to be performed in a shop environment as well as outdoor exposure throughout the plant.  Mild exposure to cement dust, heat, cold, and noise requires compliance with specified safety guidelines and procedures. Exposure to high elevations of up to 90 feet in height. Exposure to all weather conditions.
